I can’t believe I haven’t given Kamenashi Kazuya a single post so far. With him being my God and so on it’s quite amazing, actually. Though now he’s finally getting one and I will try not to rant too much about him, after all not everyone is as obsessed as I am.

Anyway. Got my hands on his solo “someday for somebody” from the new album “Cartoon KAT-TUN II You”. Just as I thought from the moment I saw the tracklist, the cheesy title was a ballad and it was his solo. It’s funny how that was my first guess and how I was right. Though not surprising.

Again Kame got the ballad and again he did a great job with it. Though I would like to ask the management why they keep on giving him ballads. I don’t mind really – I just don’t see the point in not giving him something else to do. I know a lot of people, myself included, loves Kame doing ballads – but it wouldn’t hurt giving him something faster. Something different. Something more rock? Let him rap – he is capable of that, you know.

Anyway, back to the song. It’s a really pretty song actually. While I don’t mind “00,00,16″ as a song itself – the dance was horrible and, mind you, but seducing a chair isn’t all that awesome. Thus, listening to that song, it made me think of how Kame seduced a chair, every time and I didn’t like it. This however, as far as I know, don’t have any weird dances and that’s a good plus. And besides I have now heard the song before seen the dance and I like it. It’s definitely a good song, probably I’ll end up liking this more than “Special Happiness” – sorry Kame.

The melody is pretty, it’s really pretty and yet rather simple. I want to know who does the chorus and the harmony. It sounds like a female, but it could very well be a guy with a wide range or something. I know I would love it if it was Jin, but that chance isn’t very big. In fact it’s impossible.

Listening to this makes me realise how much Kame has grown, vocally, since their debut. He still sings a tad bit nasally – though not as much as Junno – but he has come to control his voice in a much better and to use it in a better way.

He talks in this song, and I have to say that that definitely is my favorite part in the whole song. I love how it overlaps with the song and how it’s such a huge different between his talking voice and his singing voice. His talking voice is rather low (except for when he’s excited or embarrassed) and then his singing is high.

I don’t have much more to say about this really – I might be biased. Or I might just have a really good ear when it comes to music. Either way this is one of the best ballads since “Kizuna” and I swear I will have listened to it way too much even before the album gets out. Man, I love this song, and his voice. This song is so much love. ♥

Come here, come to me Jin.

The YOU pv is out and everyone’s going crazy. To be honest all this “zomg JIN!!!!!” crap is getting on my nerves lately. Some are really optimistic, some are really negative and refuse to see a good “end” to this and some just can’t keep it in and decide to cry their eyes out. Myself I roll my eyes and sigh.

I saw a clip from 2006 tonight, of Kame at a TVshow called Oshareism. There he talked about the fight he had with Ueda back in 2001-2002 sometime – the one Johnny was all “Yay good boys!” about, you know? He said how he thought things like; “If I can do it, why can’t you do it?!” and that’s exactly how I feel right now.

If I can use my brain, why can’t other people?

Something that bothers me a lot is how people seem to refuse that anything good can happen after a hiatus or a break or whatever you want to call this. They seem to refuse good things to happen because… I don’t know. Probably they were just born bitter and have to take it out on the rest of the world. Or maybe they need to get laid. Or maybe both.

Anyway, I could go on about insulting and whining about how annoying most people are these days, but I’ll make this really simple and just post my thoughts about how and why and when Jin will, or probably should, return. Let’s start with the ‘why’s.

Johnny’s Entertainment released the PV for a drama which Jin should have starred in this summer. There was nothing that ever said they would have to do so. Even if they had shooted it back then, there’s nothing that forced them to release such a thing as a promotional video for that song. If the song had been requested by fans they could just have released the actual song and left it at that. No one would even have considered asking for a PV as it was a surprise to most of us. But still they did. Some people see this as a way for the jimusho to give away their last things with Jin they have – but you have to realise. That is not how JE works. If they wanted to cut ties with Akanishi Jin, they would do so by, first of all cancelling his contract and stop giving him money. That would make them lose the right to use his picture and thus the PV wouldn’t be released. But still it got released, randomly so as well. Why could that be?

Wouldn’t it have been a little bit nicer to release the Real Face Tour DVD in March, around the anniversary? I think it would have, but instead we got it for April 11th. Two days before April 13th which marks the 6 month of Jin’s hiatus. Five days later, the 18th, we will get a new album. Without Jin on it for the new original songs, but Jin’s vocals in SIGNAL, YOU and all songs on the bonus CD. A bonus CD, doesn’t it seem a bit random? Releasing YOU isn’t completely off, but releasing a bonus CD while they could just put one or two songs on the normal CD? Though, with this bonus disc they do get more songs to chose from when they go around to promote it and, would it be so that Jin comes back, then it could very well be so that they’d choose songs he has a part in. Could it be?

Apparently Johnny’s Entertainment has called to magazines and asked them not to write any articles on Akanishi Jin. Is this a way to get him away from the entertainment world? Oh no. During the hiatus the magazines were free to publish all kinds of things, but now suddenly, JE doesn’t want that? Could it be that they’re preparing for a come back? Could it be that the things Jin will be doing will be related to work before it’ll be announced that he’s back and that they don’t want that information leaked to the fans? It could.

Those are just a few things really, but a few good things. Now on to something else that bothers me.

People are whining about how KAT-TUN has lost their popularity, that they aren’t as popular as they was, that because Kamenashi Kazuya doesn’t have a drama role, the world will end. Seriously. Something I think people need to realise: just because you dislike a band or have started to lose interest in something it doesn’t mean that the rest of the world has. And for those that are wondering – no, KAT-TUN’s popularity is not going down. We are not seeing the end of the world because Kame doesn’t have a part in a drama. Tell me, does Yamapi have a drama every season? How many dramas did he have last year? One. How many did Kame have? Two. How many did Koki have the lead in? None. Please do me not get started on how you should not compare Koki and Kame, simply because they haven’t had the same kind of roles?

What’s happening with KAT-TUN is nothing else but that the other members gets some spotlight! OH MY GOD THE WORLD IS ENDING!!! Junno and Koki are having dramas in spring – Koki gets his first lead in a drama, which is really impressive. Also Nakamaru will be having a role in a drama for summer. This is not a bad thing, just because Kame doesn’t have a drama it doesn’t mean that everything is going downhill. He is not having a drama – no. But he’s not dying, KAT-TUN is not dying. Nothing is dying here, just growing. Junno will get more fans with his role, Koki and Nakamaru as well. They will be recognized as actors for their roles. The only one left after this is Ueda. Though I doubt he’ll ever be cast in a drama, it doesn’t seem like it’s his kind of thing to do.

It’s true that KAT-TUN hasn’t been around much at TVshows and such this year, so far. But they have had nothing to promote, they haven’t had much to do at all. I don’t mind it at all okay yes I do, I need my Kamefix it’s a good thing that they get to rest and sleep in. But I doubt that’s the reason for it. No. The reason for not getting to do much is because they’re five. Because KAT-TUN can function as a group on five people, but they function best as six and thus they don’t go around to promote them all over Japan when they’re just five.

And now for the future. KAT-TUN will sing the theme to Koki’s drama. What I’ve heard of it is good, it has a high harmony which I can’t tell who it is and it’s okay I guess. But it’s too weak to be a single so I hope it will end up as the b-side. Though, it will definitely be released in June. Beginning/middle of June. I’ve been saying, a lot, lately that “April is KAT-TUN’s month” but coming to think about it, it’s more like “Spring is KAT-TUN’s season”. Winter was for NEWS, spring is for KAT-TUN. The end of spring/beginning of summer might be for the yet undebuted Juniors, who knows.

Love and Natural = KAT-TUN, says Jin.

Okay so I don’t think anyone’s missed the new picture of Jin that’s all over the net by now? On the photo it says that it’s taken the 16th and everyone is all spazzy about which 16th it is. No one fails to see that it’s taken in Japan, thanks to the Japanese characters on the bus (or car) you see, but aside from that?

I’ve read at several places that it’s an old picture from before he left and even a few years ago. Honestly? I lol at them. Personally I’m 95% sure that it’s taken February 16th 2007, partly judging from the fact that he’s in Japan and how the weather looks.

Look at the picture from 2005. That’s from after Anego ended, which was when he had a haircut that was similar to the one on the new photo. However you can easily see, if you look at the face, that those pics are not taken at the same time. He was a bit chubbier back then. Then you look at the picture in the middle, 2006. From Wink Up October, taken in September. His hair was nothing like that back then and, compared to the new photo – still chubbier. Then you look at the picture from 2007. His hair has a haircut he has never had before, the color – sure, might be because of some saturation but – is still a more red-brown than he has had before. Also, look at his face. He has lost weight from when we saw him the last time. Obviously not counting the pics from the states. Compare the 2007 picture to the 2005. I can’t put my finger on what it is, but it’s so easy to see that he’s matured. My two cents on the “myserious new Jin pic!!!”.

Speaking of new pictures. I saw a new one of Uchi too, and I can’t really remember the last time I was so giggly because of a simple picture. It was a picture taken on a train and he looked really healthy. He had a backpack that really looked like one of those you’d wear training clothes and etc. in. That made me happy. ^.^v

But back to KAT-TUN. April will be the month for them, at least the first half. The 3rd their tour starts, the 4th their TV-show, the 11th the Real Face Tour is released and the 18th the album will go on sale. It might just be a coincidence but I find it funny how everything happens six months after that Jin went on hiatus. Everywhere there’s been talk about that he will gone longer than six months, but then again, wasn’t there talk about that NEWS would disband and never come back when Tegomasu released Miso Soup? While I whine hell a lot about how we never get to hear anything from JE about Jin I really have no room to. The guy asked for six months without being in the spotlight and then, of course, we’ll give it to him. I’m just very impatient.

April comes closer though, and so does my Uni. entry exam that’ll be the 31st. I just wish it could be April 2nd already.

Aiming for the stars.

The Hoshi wo Mezashite PV is out and while I wasn’t in the best mood for it yesterday, this morning (“morning”) it was the first thing I downloaded. Having watched it, I have a few things to talk about.

Yamapi is a star, he’s reaching higher and higher for each day and is, in many fans’ eyes, perfect. Though, have a look at those teeth will you? They’re anything but perfect. Not whining about it, definitely not. I have a thing for stars with weird teeth – at least that’s what they say and I guess it’s somewhat correct too. While I love Gackt, his teeth scares me. I like them not totally perfect. Yamapi definitely wins at that.

Ryo will never stop looking angsty, will he? When they were sitting in the car all he could do was looking like he was about to cry any minute. Again, I’m not complaining. I like when he looks like that, he looks really good. Though I wouldn’t mind him smiling a bit more and not showing off his teeth. Again with the teeth, don’t mind his teeth too much but they’re a tad bit too white and it shows way too much that he smokes.

Anyway, back to the PV. I love how they were smiling through (pretty much) all of it. My favorite part is when they stand against the blue sky and just randomly hogs the camera, it’s really cute. While I know it’s very easy for an idol to fake a smile, you could tell just by looking at this one that they were really happy to record this PV. Remember when their last was? I barely do: TEPPEN back in 2005. Two years ago.

This PV really makes one happy, it’s one of those music videos that you should watch when you’re down because no matter what it makes you smile. Had I not been smiling so much I probably would have cried though, NEWS‘ return has gotten to me more than I thought it would.

Koki misses Jin?

Ahahaha. I was listening to Tanaka Koki’s Make You Wet and this time spent more time to think of how he sounded and not just listen to the lyrics. Usually I go the other way around when it comes to that. And just like my friend Nekura said, I noticed it immediately.

If you listen to how Koki sings in this songs you come to realise very soon that he growls and sings low just like Jin does. His voice still reminds me of Kamenashi’s when he sings normally, but the growling and the really low notes/parts of the song really reminds a lot of Jin. Kinda funny~*

The Return of Akanishi Jin.

Okay. So me and Aki have been talking alot about Jin’s pretty much ever since he left back in October. As the months passed by rumours came up and went down and fangirls went hysterical. Now, in 2007, there have been rumours that he’s returned I don’t know how many times and they keep popping up. It’s also now that I actually start believing in those rumours.

Fans have said, thought and been convinced that our dear Jin will leave KAT-TUN, that he left because he quit etc, etc. Those are the kind of fans I really don’t like. They annoy the hell out of me, if I’m to be honest. To be it’s always been a matter of time and I’ve never been worried that he would leave KAT-TUN for a solo career or anything like that. I don’t doubt he’d be able to handle it, he had the voice for it, the good qualities an artist should have and so on – so of course he’d be able to deal with a solo career. But there’s something everyone seems to forget when it comes to this. Jin loves KAT-TUN. He didn’t leave because of them, and if we look beyond the real reason (which I believe is that he fought with his senpai) I think another reason for why he left was the fangirls. We (me and strong>Aki) often say; “Jin loves to sing, he loves KAT-TUN and to be on stage, but he hates being famous.” this for the simple reason that the fangirls obviously won’t leave him alone. Disrespectful that.

Anyway. As 2007 slowly got going there were rumours but no real news of him and yet there are no real “news” about whether or not he’ll be back soon. Fans have called the office, regarding the concert, and asked if Jin will be in it and they say that he won’t. Of course they say he won’t, they won’t tell you something they don’t want the media to know before hand, you know?

In January and February KAT-TUN had nothing to do, save for YOUtachi! and the regular magazine interviews and radio shows. Then now, in March suddenly they’re all over the place – despite not releasing a single. I said, in the beginning of this year over at my livejournal, that KAT-TUN would not release a single until Jin would be back but instead around the time it would be time for a new single – which would be March (3 months since Bokura no Machi de – they would release the REAL FACE tour on DVD. Nothing got announced before March though but yesterday, March 2nd, it got announced that the tour will be released April 11th. A few days before that it got announced that KAT-TUN will appear on Music Station the 16th this month. Kamenashi will also be on Shounen Club Premium the 18th and perform with KAT-TUN. Those appearances suddenly makes a lot of sense, since they’ll most likely promote the DVD.

The REAL FACE Tour had all six members and the DVD will come with a 20 page booklet and a lot of fans are asking if Jin will be in it. He’s in the concert, why would he not be in the booklet? My question is not if he’ll be on the cover/booklet, but instead if releasing the DVD is a way to keep the fans or a sign of that Jin is returning very soon?

March 16th: KAT-TUN on Music Station.
March 18th: Kamenashi guest on Shounen Club Premium, KAT-TUN performance.
March 22nd: KAT-TUN 1 year anniversary since debut.
April 3rd: KAT-TUN Spring 2007 tour starts. (The official poster is still a picture of KAT-TUN 6nin.)
April 4th: KAT-TUN’s TVshow Cartoon KAT-TUN starts.
Aprtil 11th: KAT-TUN Spring Tour 2006 REAL FACE tour release.

My money’s on that sometime before the 16th, Akanishi Jin will officially be back. There’s no way he’d miss the 1 year anniversary. Simply no way.

Slow NEWS?

I was looking through my magazines folder just a few moments ago and came across the Tegomasu shot for Myojo February 2007. Personally I like that photoshot quite a lot, it’s one of the better ones with them. That might just be my liking for “emo”-like pictures. Tegoshi look very good while Massu just look generally pouty. Adorable if you ask me.

Anyhow, as I checked again which magazine this was from I got a bit surprised to see that it was the February issue of Myojo. True, it came out at the end of January, but it still felt so long ago when it in fast was just a little bit over a month ago.

Tegomasu, came here to Sweden for Miso Soup for about five months ago, give or take. Back then a lot of NEWS fans started to wonder if Tegomasu would be a new duo and if NEWS actually weren’t coming back. Myself I never got that worried but only wondered what the hell Johnny was doing, sending two of his boys over here. Thankfully it was successful.
Now that I think of it a few months later (though I’m almost 100% sure when I say that I thought of this back then too), I realise that Johnny wasn’t really stupid or anything like it. Despite the fact that we never got to see much of Shige last year, we got to see more than we had before (of him outside of NEWS that is). He got to act in one drama and one drama special. Putting Tegoshi and Massu together to a duo was a very smart move of the old man. Not only did it sell well but it was one of his weird ways to show that NEWS were on their way back. Despite most of us being surprised when we got to hear that they’d appear at the Countdown, we could have read between the lines and realised it back then that they would get back sooner than some of us expected.

Now, with NEWS coming back, so did Uchi and Kusano. Most of the fandom freaked out because of how they had to go back to being trainees – I got a bit disappointed too to be honest. But maybe we are missing the bigger picture here? The boys broke the law and of course it has to be dealt with in a good way. Now, I’m not saying I’m right but don’t be too fast to say that I’m wrong. We’ve already heard (for those who downloaded the fanrecording from NEWS concert) how NEWS would sound like if those two were not to return and personally I don’t like it. I love the group and the six guys that are there but to have that all the time is a big no-no for me.

I find myself complaining a lot to Aki about how we never get an update about how those two are doing, and I search around the internet sometimes to see if there has been any updates on fanblogs. Though maybe one should focus more on the current NEWS? It’s no secret that Kanjani8 has given quite a lot of hints of that Uchi will be back with them sooner or later, and NEWS is a group that has the whole boyband-image and thus have to be perfect and smile despite wanting to cry. But, despite that – despite being the perfect idols they are – Johnny gave us hints of that NEWS would come back already in October. So, I’m thinking; maybe if we look closer on the current NEWS we’ll see some hints of that those two are on their way back? It could be something as small as restock their previous singles, show an old PV or just talk about the future in riddles, after all that’s something the boys of Johnny’s Entertainment are very good at.

Or maybe I am looking too much into it? I’d like to believe I have a point though.

First post.

Okay so I honestly have no idea of why I made this journal to begin with. But then I realised; I rant quite a lot about Johnny’s Entertainment, and thus maybe a personal livejournal isn’t the best thing for that? It probably but I like things like this too… It makes it somewhat more open for other people. Not that I’m all that famous or that most people would want to be interested but some might be. ^.^ If nothing else it’s a nice place to get down all my thoughts about my, currently, biggest fandom without making people at my livejournal friendlist get tired of me.

Anyway. The name “scentertainment” was supposed to be only “Centertainment”. That came from, the obvious, Entertainment in “Johnny’s Entertainment” and the C came from what I first wanted to be an S. S for “Sohee” which is the name I go by online these days. Though “sentertainment” looked a bit weird and I replaced it with an C. The current username was a typo really… but, well – at least it works?
